Someone should do something, some people will sometimes say. In the Village of Midlothian, there are many someones who can and will do something to make the community more attractive and fun. Sometimes, it is the county or state government professionals who care for and enhance areas owned by the taxpayers. Other times it is a business, a group or an individual working on privately-owned property.
Sometimes "they" take off on their own with wise visions and create wonderful spaces. The Midlothian Garden Club, for example, maintains the village's entryway and other garden clubs tackle other areas around the village.
Other times, individuals, agencies, businesses or groups seek help or suggestions about what is needed or appropriate in or around the village. That's when the Midlothian Greenspace Committee helps by creating consensus, introducing like-minded people to each other and–if necessary–bringing together resources.
