John Tyler Community College - Midlothian Campus

  John Tyler Community College’s Midlothian Campus was built in 2000. The Campus currently consists of four buildings: an administration building, an academic building, a science building, and a warehouse/physical plant facility. The Science Building on the Midlothian Campus was awarded a Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Silver certification, becoming the first project in the Virginia Community College System to be certified under the LEED Green Building Rating System.

For the last 40 years, John Tyler Community College has been serving the community as a public two-year institution of higher education. The College offers a variety of programs and services, with a focus on primarily serving the residents of the cities of Colonial Heights, Hopewell and Petersburg, as well as the counties of Amelia, Charles City, Chesterfield, Dinwiddie, Prince George, Surry and Sussex.
